Bri is a Certified Vinyasa and Yin Yoga teacher. She completed her first 200hr Vinyasa teacher training through Lighthouse Yoga School in New York City, with Jared McCann and Rebecca Emmalee Causey. Two years later she completed her Yin Yoga certification through Breathe Cambridge in Boston with Shawn Cornelison, and later that spring completed a second 200hr teacher training through The Sacred Fig with Anton Brandt, Grace Dubery, and Tony Lupinacci. In the spring of 2024, she completed a 40hr Katonah Mentorship program, delving deeper into the philosophy of Katonah yoga.

Bri has found yoga to be a safe space where she can move her body with appreciation and amazement, without fear of judgment, and as a teacher, she strives for her classes to be a safe space for all individuals. Her practice helped her find a sense of peace, clarity, and overall well-being that continues to draw her to the mat every day. Here she can move, sit, breathe, and simply be present. Bri firmly believes that anyone is capable of doing yoga and can achieve their goals if they continue their practice. She encourages students to approach their practice with an appreciation for their bodies and all they are capable of. Bri provides well-rounded yoga classes that focus on mindful breath and movement and draw influence from various yoga styles such as Hatha, Katonah, and Ashtanga, incorporating pranayama and meditation. Bri reminds students to honor their practice and to hold space for any emotions that may arise.

The passion Bri has for yoga motivates her to continue learning and deepening her practice. She is not only drawn toward the physical practice (asana), but also the philosophy behind yoga and how yoga benefits the mind, physical body, and energetic body. Her understanding of these components allows her to provide context and knowledge throughout the class. She encourages her students to embrace their practice, come excited to learn, and encouraged to try new poses. Students are invited to enter Bri’s classes with an open mind and an understanding that yoga is a never-ending path of self-discovery and growth.
